This Kapitel's articles proved to be just as interesting as the previous. I never knew there could be such a fascination with saunas, especially seeing that I've never been in one in my life. And to think that there are "sauna clubs" really blows my mind. The article concerning German illness doesn't really surprise me though - Germans aren't wimps. Although I do think they might take it a bit far with toughing there sickness' out, Germans are tough, thick-skinned people. The article that I connected with was the last about German students. Having no rush or pressure to quickly finish college and jump into the real world would be a nice change of pace. I feel like my mother attempts to call/text me every other day making sure I'm handling my school work and not partying too much. Plus all of the benefits German students receive - Cheaper health insurance, lower taxes, and subsidized entry to numerous places - I might never leave school. Stretching out these young adult years and having a solid part-time job to have some money in my pocket doesn't sound too bad at all!
