I finished watching the movie Das Boot, that I started last semester. I found a website that streams a limited selection of movies and Das Boot was one of those movies. As I said earlier I started the movie last semester. The movie is 2 and half hours long. I finished the last 40 minutes and I was pleased with my self with the amount of words and phrases that I picked up on. I still can't watch the movie without the subtitles but, in the movies I picked up some reflexive verbs here and there. Also I heard many of wo and da compounds. Towards the end of the movie the u-boat crew are attacked by British ships near Gibraltar and are almost killed. They evade the British and under the cover of night and sail to La Rochelle. They leave the u-boat and make their way to to the town, when allies planes come and bomb the town leaving most of the crew wounded or killed. I very much enjoyed the film and would recommend it to anyone.
