AMD 4

Ack! Ich habe tat das gedacht! Anyway, for this AMD, I spoke to a German person over the break on Livemocha. We tried speaking to each other in German, I was able to keep up for a little bit before having to revert back to English. Apparently my German is pretty decent. We also joked about some of the stereotypes we read about in the Kultur readings. He admitted their sense of humor was strange to people outside of Germany and that it was probably something only Germans would understand. He tried to disprove a few of the other stereotypes, to which I asked him, "Really?" He replied with a silly "no" with a sheepish grin.
