I found the poll that 1 out of 5 Germans would want the Berlin wall resurrected. While anyone who takes a walk between west an east Berlin will notice a drastic difference, I never noticed that there was a negative attitude toward each other. I was also unaware that there was a growing divide between the south and north. In addition, I found hte Wiki article to be quite funny because its true. I especially enjoyed the refrence of An Ost-Ampelmännchen. This was actually one of the first things I came to recognize in Germany and is probably as much a topic for tourists coming to Germany as Dinner for one is, at least for Americans or rather towards Americans from Germans.
