AMD ONE

For this week's post I read the article "How Not To Die On German Roads" which I thought would be interesting because I really love driving, and we all hear about the Autobahn being the BEST place to driving as fast as you fancy. I know I know, it now has a speed limit, but it's still one step away from the Nurburgring.
The article insists not to use the left lane unless you're fully prepared. I agree with this entirely and I wish people would do the same in the states. Our speed limit might be absurdly slow, but some people just don't understand going slow is just as dangerous as going fast.
The article says "don't forget to use the turn-signle" with which I agree, however it is NOT optional America. It seems that Germans understand how to be polite on the road! The article recommends we use public transport, and that makes me smile, to think we probably aren't up to their driving standards we should just get on a bus. It's probably right though, unless you're a dedicated and learned drive I would think you shouldn't be on motorways in any country. It's nice to know Germany has got that all figured out.
