AMD1 - Ben Oztalay

Fur diese AMD, ich habe (the rest) von Bella Martha (watched). Er war ein gute Film, er ist sehr interessant und, manchmal, lustig. Martha war eine sehr stolz Frau, und Essen ist ihr Leben.

Ich kann der Film verstehen, weil es Untertielen gibt. Die Leute sprechen so schnell, es ist schwerig zu verstehen. Aber, mit dem Untertielen und dem Leute sprechen, ich kann die richtige Wörter hören und verstehen. Ich habe ein deutsche Film nie gesehen, außer Lola Rennt.

As I kept watching the movie, I got better at picking out the words, but having the subtitles really helped me find the words. It takes a while to get my mind into "German mode", but once it's there I'm good at understanding German. Hearing real German being spoken reminded be about a lot of things we learned in 101, and that what we learned actually covers the majority of what's being said, minus vocabulary. I feel like, if I focused on learning a lot of vocabulary, I could do a good job understanding at least most writing.
