Bargain Buys:
This article makes it seem like going to one store to get all you need is a hassle. Although I myself try to avoid Wal*Mart, it does make it easy to get everything I need without making several stops all around town. I wonder in Germany if you don't go to these stores where you would get spices or flour, I'm used to them being at one store just in different aisles. The fruit and vegetables sounds gross and extreme, I don't buy fruit from Wal*mart even but I wouldn't even try at these places without the refridgeration.
How to not die on German roads:
Interesting how half of the bulleted statements ended in you will get a ticket or die. The best advice was at the end to take public transportation, because not only is driving with others and laws different there, the traffic in the cities I visited were crazy busy! I personnally wouldn't want to drive in city traffic on the small European streets.
Of German Lines:
The bus stop example made me think of trying to get on a Bursley-Baits bus at high times of the day, if you are patient you may not get on the bus, you have to push and shove to get your way onto the bus, which is what I thought of while reading this article. I feel that letting an old lady in front in line is a common courtesy here in America, and thuoght it was interesting how the article stated to look out for them cause they are stealthy in taking your spot in line as well.
