AMD-3 Ben Lemisch

Fur mein AMD 3 ich habe auf der Bundeswehr gelesen. As a member of the United States military I always enjoy learning about the practices of the other militaries of the world. The Bundeswehr is the German military which is divided up into the following groups; The armed forces or "Streitkräfte", a civil part with the armed forces administration the "Wehrverwaltung", and the federal bureau of procurement or "Bundesamt für Wehrtechnik und Beschaffung". This is different than the U.S. military since each branch in the U.S. military is in charge of its own budget and procurement with oversight from the Pentagon and White House. The Bundeswehr originated after the reunification of Germany after the collapse of the Soviet Union. One interesting note is that the Bundeswehr may not exceed 370,000 active duty personel by an international agreement. I find this interesting because it shows that even decades after the defeat of the Nazis Europe still takes measures to avoid an overwhelming German military. This is of course completely juxtaposed by the American military which is unrivaled in the world. I enjoyed learning about the German military and would encourage anyone, especially those going into foreign policy or military service, to read about it as well.
