AMD 1 - Taylor Gray

After reading past Kultur sections and gaining some insight on everyday life of Germans, I decided that it would be interesting to do a little bit of research of my own on the differences in culture between Germany and the US. The motivation to engage in this research was definitely inspired by a few of the articles in previous Kultur sections: particularly the sex shop, autobahn, and market articles. These articles really demonstrated the differences between the two cultures, and intrigued me to look a little deeper. For my AMD 1, I searched youtube to see if I could see some of these differences "2nd hand" and was actually able to learn a bit more. I also talked with a friend who has studied in Germany for a year about some of the differences in culture. Her main points of differences were very similar to those in the video that can be seen by clicking the attached link.
