Kultur 7

I found the first article rather interesting. Up until at most two year ago, I had never heard of a grocery chain called Aldi's until I drove past a few. And now even more interesting is that it's a German chain. The deposit for a shopping cart isn't really something new to me, as the Shop Rite in my hometown does that. I found the unsanitary practices in Aldi's rather unsettling. Then again, it would be the buyer's fault for not realizing they bought spoiled vegetables. As for the Autobahn, I feel like I would be at home in the left lane of that massive stretch of highway as I would end up pushing my car that fast. I was rather surprised to read about how German queues were like. For a country with the stereotype of being bogged down by a whole lot of laws and such, their lines are pretty chaotic.
