Chapter seven's kultur articles are pretty funny. The amount of aggressiveness that the German people employ while shopping or waiting in a line is outstanding. I also like the analogy of German supermarkets to be like nuclear fallout shelters. The driving rules in Germany are somewhat different than in the USA, I like that using your turn single is mandatory in German. It sounds to me that driving on the Autobahn is dangerous to say the least. When I go to Germany I will take the authors advice and take a taxi or bus to get where I need to go. I also sounds like that if you are in any kind of line in Germany, that you have to be on your toes. When I first read the article I though that everyone competing for a spot in a line be fun. However when thinking about it I realize that it would get in a rather quick fashion.
