Für meine AMD 3 habe ich die Sprache auf meinem Facebook auf Deutsch geändert. Ich habe neue Wörter gelernt. Some of the new phrases I learned include the following. "name" schreibt etwas ... translates to name is typing, or "name" hat dir eine Nachrichting means "name" sent you a message, "name" und "name" sind jetzt Freunde means "name" and "name" are now friends. "Ort" means location, Was machst du gerade? means what's on your mind, and Informationen bearbeiten means update info. I found that a lot of the translations were not really different phrasings or ways of saying the same thing, rather they were hard or literal translations of English, of course with some exceptions. However, I think this is mostly due to the fact that most of the phrasing or expressions used on Facebook are single words. Nonetheless, I found that by changing the language setting on my Facebook, I have been able to read and think in German while I am talking to other people which has helped improved my German comprehension. That being said, I would recommend that other students try it out as well.
