Once again, these articles promoted some extremely unusual stereotypes about Germans. Perhaps they are true, perhaps not. Ich glaube dass, die Deutschen sind sehr geordnet. I doubt they need to be so detailed in their applications, but I would believe it if someone said they required far  more detail than the average American resume. The article about dealing with neighbours is also strange. Why can you only grill once a month? In South Africa we "braai" or grill sometimes thrice a week. The article on German patriotism is somewhat sad. It is unfortunate that Germany hasn't fully moved on from its Nazi stereotypes. It seems the country is still filled with a collective shame, demonstrated by the Murdered Jews of Europe Memorial.
